On behalf of the Cherry Hill High School West staff and family, we would like to welcome you to the other half of education – ATHLETICS!

We at West consider athletics to be an essential and dynamic aspect of the overall education process. Participation in athletics is a PRIVILEGE that all students have. Each athlete will be expected to accept training rules and regulations that are specific for each sport. Individual team rules are on file in the Athletic Director’s office. Student-Athletes are to conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen at all times. Their actions are not only reflective of their coaches at school, but of their parents and guardians as well.

Sports Concussion Policy

To view the New Jersey State mandated Sports Concussion Policy, recently adopted by the Cherry Hill. Board of Education, please click here.
This policy is to be provided for all student-athletes, parents, and/or guardians. After reviewing the Policy, please complete and sign Appendix A and return it to the West Athletic Office.

District Goals for the 2011-2011 Academic Year

1) Continue to improve student achievement at all grade levels for all students and close achievement gaps where they exist.

2) Expand implementation of a blueprint for student success to assure continuous student progress within an aligned preK-12 educational program.

3) Achieve an increased level of consistency among all schools by applying an individualized data-driven approach to child study evaluations, IEP development and implementation of special education programs.

4) Develop an action plan to improve and maintain school facilities while focusing on learning, safety, space, infrastructure, and maintenance.

5) Protect the quality of the district's educational program while minimizing the financial impact on the local taxpayer, implementing greater fiscal and operational efficiency, providing increased transparency and accountability, and pursuing alternative funding.
